Clothing, software and information-services companies at one address: activity codes unrelated to the service

Reported by: Public record (e-Business Register) · Public record, register · Last verified:

Last updated:

According to the register, the companies with the same shareholder (eight of them at the same address) have unrelated activity codes: Trendclothing OÜ retail intermediation (47911), Omtechpro OÜ software publishing (58291), Adelianz OÜ “other information services” (63921), Companify OÜ business consulting (70221), JusTrust OÜ management consulting (70201), Applianz and Nexrion OÜ computer consultancy (62201); only Sazara (69202) and Quintum (6920) carry the accounting code. In the reported cases the contact-person invoices, however, came from JusTrust or Companify with their “consulting” codes. For the shared address and ownership: company network. (Opinion: a service sold to the customer as one brand being spread in the register across six different activity areas and a network of nine companies makes it invisible which company actually does what.) How to verify it yourself

  • Read the code in the Areas of activity (EMTAK) box of the invoicing company’s ariregister entry.
  • Check whether the code matches the service sold (accounting 69…, consultancy 70…).
  • Compare the codes of other companies at the same address via Connections.

Questions to ask the provider

  • Why does the activity code of the company providing this service point to a different field?
  • Which company invoices the accounting service?
  • Which company in the network does which job?

What to do about this type of complaint

Verify the licence number yourself in the MTR register and check whether the licence holder is the company invoicing you; check on the registry card whether the activity code matches the service sold.
