Complaint
Meetings cancelled or postponed and forgotten
In the reported cases scheduled meetings are cancelled or postponed at the last minute; the company proposes no new date for a postponed meeting; the customer has to write again. Some meetings never take place; the matter is moved to e-mail and waits there. In a service sold with the promise of follow-up on Zoom, a call becomes the exception after the sale. A customer living in another country and time zone loses a working day with every cancellation. (Opinion: a provider that keeps postponing the meeting also postpones the questions.)
This card describes a complaint type rather than one incident; details may vary from report to report.

How to recognise this situation
- A planned meeting is cancelled or postponed shortly before.
- No new date is given, or the new date is forgotten.
- The reason for cancelling is not given in writing.
Questions to ask the provider
- Can you give a new date for the cancelled meeting in writing now?
- If no meeting is possible, by what date will my questions be answered in writing?
- Who schedules appointments, and whom should I contact directly?
What to do about this type of complaint
Ask for the name and direct e-mail of the person preparing the report; confirm every call in a dated message. If replies stop, send one written formal notice and make sure your company’s registry and tax access no longer sits with the provider.
