Complaint
No delivery date: nobody says when the work will be done
In the reported cases no date is given after payment for when the work will be completed; when asked, a general answer comes instead of a date. Even for work with a statutory deadline the schedule is not shared; the customer is still waiting as the deadline approaches. Responsibility for the delay, however, sits with the customer and the board member in the register. (Opinion: a provider that gives no delivery date has left the consequences of delay with the customer from the start.)
This card describes a complaint type rather than one incident; details may vary from report to report.

How to recognise this situation
- No delivery date is given for the annual report or a return.
- Vague terms such as “soon” are used.
- As the legal deadline nears, no status update arrives.
Questions to ask the provider
- What is your internal delivery date for my report?
- If the deadline is missed, who bears the fine?
- Can you report weekly at what stage the preparation is?
What to do about this type of complaint
Before paying in advance, ask for scope, term, refund and termination terms in one written document; invoices and e-mails are not a contract. Know that you can change the contact person and legal address in the register yourself when needed; get the exit plan in writing at the start.
